Crystal IProduct Line: Various Prerequisite: Advance Preparation: Class Description: This class is designed for beginners to familiarize themselves with Crystal Reports. It uses a MS Access database with a workbook designed to allow a user to quickly learn how to connect to a database; insert data fields onto a report; modify the look and feel of a report; insert groups, subtotals, and grand totals. Users will also touch on some of the advanced features of Crystal Reports such as Report Alerts, conditional formatting, and conditional highlighting. It covers the added general ledger functionality that is only available with the Premier edition of the ledger. (This includes the Premier Transactions, Premier Consolidations, and Premier Inter-Company applications.) You must attend the Standard Ledger class first. Standard LedgerProduct Line: Sage PFW Prerequisite: Advance Preparation: Class Description: This class covers the principles of the General Ledger - Standard Edition is an interactive lab environment. It is designed for individuals who are involved in the analysis, maintenance, and support of financial software. Participants will walk through the various menu options learning implementation procedures; process flows within the ledger and techniques for interfacing with the sub systems (AR, AP, etc). This class may cover the Multi-Currency Module or FRx, based upon the needs of the students.
Visio I - Getting started with VisioProduct Line: Microsoft Visio 2003 Prerequisite: Advance Preparation: Class Description: This class is a basic introduction to Microsoft Visio 2003. Users will learn the basics of navigating the Visio software, and how to create a new document from scratch and from an existing template. In addition, users will learn how to open existing documents, add shapes, arrange the layout of shapes, and link the shapes using connectors to make various kinds of diagrams. Finally users will learn how to save and print their work Visio II - AdvancedProduct Line: Microsoft Visio 2003 Prerequisite: Advance Preparation: Class Description: As a follow-up class to Visio I, the advanced class focuses on creating custom diagrams. This involves defining custom shapes and templates that can be adapted to your individual needs. Users will also learn how to export data from Visio to other Office applications, and will explore various methods for sharing diagrams. |
