Class Policies

Retake Policy: Attendees can retake any paid course as a refresher for a period of up to one year (and at a 50% discount for the second year) as long as space permits.

Payment: Most classes must be paid in advance.

Discounts: Discounts are available for some classes when 2 or more attendess from the same company attend. Other promotional discounts may be posted from time to time on our web site.

Cancellations: R.L. Nelson and Associates reserves the right to cancel any class for which there is an insufficient number of registrants. The decision to cancel or not to cancel a class will normally be made 5 days prior to the class date.

Refunds: Refunds will be given for classes canceled by R.L. Nelson and Associates. No refunds will be given for "no-shows"

Class Hosting: A separate policy is available for hosting a class. If you are interested in hosting a class (outside the Pittsburgh, Columbus, or Philadelphia areas), please contact Lorrie at 724-733-4102 x114.

R.L. Nelson and Associates is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses of CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 150 Forth Avenue North, Suite 700 Nashville TN 37219-2417or by visiting the web site: www.nasba.org
